2012 Grand Sizzler Seller Information
Early Bird Drawing will be held on 5/27/12 following the 10:00 AM Mass. On this date four $200.00 cash prizes will be given out with the sellers of these tickets receiving $50.00.
New This Year- For each ticket sold the seller will receive one chance to win a Gerstner Box (see below). The tickets for this drawing will be the Early Bird tickets so it is important for the sellers to continue filling out the seller’s portion of the early bird ticket even after the Early Bird Drawing. Please do NOT cut off the Early Bird portion of the tickets. This will be done at the parish office to avoid losing any of these tickets. This prize will be awarded after the fireworks.
All Grand Sizzler tickets must be turned in by Noon on Monday July 2, 2012 for audit. ALL 2000 tickets MUST be accounted for prior to the drawing.
To eliminate winner’s legal obligation to the Ohio Gambling Tax prior to receiving the prize, the ticket has been changed this year. 49 prizes have been kept below the tax cut off of $5,000.00. The $13,333.00 prize has been changed to a $10,000.00 cash prize with the winner paying tax and the difference has been divided amongst the remaining prizes to maximize winning. The total is still of $50,000.00 value. We apologize for any negative feedback over this change.
As in previous years all Gift Cards will be bought from Script with proceeds going to the Church Renovation.
